Introduction to Google Apps for Education

UB has partnered with Google to provide Apps for Education to students. Faculty can also use these Apps to enhance the online presence of a course, communicate with others, and even obtain feedback.

Not to be confused with smartphone "apps," these Google Apps are services accessible through a web browser. There are many Google Apps that have a use in the classroom. Some of the most useful would be Google Docs and Forms, Google Sites, Google Calendar, and others.

This workshop will be an open discussion, so feel free to come with any questions or topics regarding Google Apps. You will also learn how to set up an account to access these online services.
